i found the staff friendly. the room had clean bedding. i appreciated the decent breakfast they served. pillows are firm and this was important for me.

the hotel is near the train station. this location made my travel easy, especially with the bus interchange around the corner and i could access the city center by walk, this was great.

the breakfast had a good variety of items. i found my room clean and tidy with tea and coffee provided. the staff was very friendly. i had a good night's sleep.

the carpet had dirt. blinds didn't cover windows properly. street lights shined through.

shower temperature squeaking noise

The shower temperature was a real problem. It swung wildly between freezing cold and scalding hot. the metal sign outside my window made a terrible squeaking noise all night. I had to use earplugs to get any sleep at all.

train station helpful staff english breakfast

the location was AMAZING, just steps from the train station. the staff were very helpful with directions and information. i really enjoyed the full english breakfast, cooked fresh. the room had everything i needed, shower facilities and a kettle.

the window didn't seal well, so there was road noise i could hear. the noise was very clear.
